2021, week 18: My Path to Graduation
Y'all, today is my graduation ceremony, but I'm not attending. I'm excited to finally get my diploma, but since my immediate family will not be able to attend graduation I decided to not endure the St. George heat whilst waiting for a diploma holder and wearing a cap and gown that I won't use again. Instead, I'll probably read a book or maybe I'll tune in for the live stream of graduation. Tomorrow I'll host a grad bash/farewell party.
I plan to live with my family until mid-August or early September of this year. I don't have a job lined up; my last day at my current job is May 20th. I don't know where I'll live in Salt Lake City when I move there in the fall. I'm not going to grad school yet, if I do one day decide to go. So, this summer will be a great opportunity to learn, grow, and try new things!
Let's take a little walk down memory lane and see how I got to where I am now.
Summer 2008: BYU Independent Study
May 2009: High school graduation
June 2009: BYU Independent Study
September 2011: 1st semester at Latter-day Saints Business College (now Ensign College)
May 2013-November 2014: Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
August 2015: BYU-Idaho's Pathway program
April 2017: The Move to Saint George, UT
If you read last week's blog then you also got a glimpse at the different jobs I've had.
But let's end this on a fun note. Wanna see how I've progressed since high school graduation? Then watch my graduation slideshow :)
