A New Job & Business

Hey all,

So if you follow me on other social media you've probably heard that I recently became an independent consultant.
After moving & 2 months of unemployment I decided to take matters into my own hands. I was extremely hesitant at first.

Let me tell you how & why I decided to become a consultant.....

Like I mentioned, I'd been unemployed for about 2 months and had recently moved. I'd applied to 100+ jobs and had heard back from about 20 of them, saying they were hiring someone else. Another 10 or so had me fill out a pre-interview survey, but then never got back to me (even when I reached out to them).

Sometime last year a friend invited me to her online Jamberry party. It was the first time I'd heard of the company and the first online party I'd attended. I ended up buying a few wraps, and I had meant to use them but never did. Just before I moved, my friend contacted me and asked if I'd be willing to host an online Jamberry party, she had decided to become an independent consultant. (I then remembered about the things that I'd bought last year and felt bad that I hadn't tried them yet)...... She told me that I'd get free product for hosting. So, I said yes.

{Side note: I'm majoring in Elementary Education, but I've been intrigued by marketing & sales. So I just recently started considering minoring in Marketing.}

This party took place a few weeks ago.. and near the beginning my friend asked me if I'd be willing to join her team and become an independent consultant. I said no- that the timing wasn't right, I didn't have the money, I was looking for something full-time, etc.

Well, some things happened the week of that party. And I had a lot of fun with all the games & posts, and being a hostess. My friend was like, you're killing this! You're basically doing my job already.

So, after the event was over and we were talking about my host rewards (because who doesn't love free swag?!) she mentioned I could get my starter kit (as a consultant) for 50% off!
I said yes.

I signed up as a consultant that night & my starter kit showed up the next day!!! I literally did a happy dance :)
I scoured the contents of the box, posted a video on Instagram of my happy dance, and started planning.

It's Thursday now. 10 days ago I made the decision to join the Jamberry Family. And it's been great! :)

I'm currently doing my online launch party!!! {Let me know if you want in on the fun :) }
& if you're in the St. George area and have questions, drop me a line!
